If you Love Love Food, then you’re going to love love what comes next.
The popular downtown bakery and eatery has extended its hours and is adding new items to its menu, and its ambiance to attract even more customers.
Owner Mishell Albino said the core business, which includes a strong bakery that caters to all things sweet and delicious, won’t be changing. But instead a new vibe is being created.
“We love our daytime people. They’re perfect,” she said. “But now we have extended our hours every day to 6 p.m. We have a liquor license, so if you want to stop in for a glass of wine after work then this is the place to do that.”
To extend the fun even more Love Love Food will be opening even later on select evenings for open-mic nights that will feature performances of local talent. “We’ll have all the details on our website. So people can know who is playing, and when, so they can enjoy a great night out.”
And if the long day at work has got you down, Love Love Food has just the right pick-me-up for the trip home.
“We’re creating take-home meals like chicken pot pie, Chinese pastries and individual lasagnas. All you have to do is take it home and pop it in the oven,” said Albino.
Love Love Food is located at 109 Pitt Street.
