Diversity Cornwall will host a Pride Festival from July 10 - July 21st, with the highlight being a parade that will march through the downtown core and end at Lamoureux Park for a celebration of community pride, diversity and inclusion. The ten day festival will include a wide range of events in Cornwall, Akwesasne and SD&G, including a number of events being held at our new location at 167 Pitt Street, such as a Trans, Non Binary and Two Spirit Panel discussion, a Family Pride crafting event, and a drag story time. Other events included in the ten day festival include drag & comedy show fundraisers, a pride brunch, pride service, parade and festival at Lamoureux Park with food, vendors, musicians, a children's tent, drag performances, story time, art workshops, dancers and more. This year we're also proud to host a performance by the talented two-spirit singer/songwriter, Shawnee Kish! The parade and festival will feature dozens of local businesses and vendors from around the Cornwall, Akwesasne and SD&G region, many of whom will be hosting tables during the festival, including several business who form part of the DBIA.
