Under The Harvest Moon Fundraiser Complete Success!

As the Harvest Moon bathed Pommier Square in its soft glow on the evening of October 13th, a special event was unfolding. The "Under the Harvest Moon" fundraiser, a brainchild of Stacia Carlton from Essential Kitchen, Hassan Rafei of Schnitzels, and Andre Pommier of Pommier Jewelers, was a spectacle to behold. With the gorgeous decor setup by Mandy Prevost, the event illuminated much more than just the square.
A Unique Downtown Experience
Over 50 esteemed guests gathered to partake in a six-course dinner, a culinary journey featuring signature dishes from four downtown restaurants - Esca, Carrots n' Dates, Schnitzels, and Fairy Sweet. As everyone dined under the open sky, the melodious jazz tunes of Marc Muir permeated the event, adding a perfect touch of soulful harmony.
Fundraising Success
The night was not just about indulgence. An auction was held, supported by generous donors, with a single goal - raising funds for the Lighting Project. The guests opened their hearts and wallets, resulting in a staggering sum of over $8000 raised. We extend a massive thank you to everyone who contributed and participated, making the night not just memorable, but a resounding success.
